What is the Great American Tree Competition?

Each year, we receive hundreds of submissions from Americans passionate about showcasing their community forests and notable and beloved trees near them. It’s easy to submit, so send us your favorite tree this year! You can see past winners here

What types of trees can I submit to the competition?

The Great American Tree Competition welcomes any tree in the United States, from a backyard favorite to a historic icon. Just tell us why you feel the tree is special and important to you and your community.
