    We are looking for people interested in becoming a Vermont First Detector. First Detectors are volunteers who are on the front line of defense against likely pest infestations. Vermont’s Forest Pest First Detectors program will prepare them to meet, work with and educate the public about exotic tree pests. Following is the job description of a Vermont First Detector.


    Interested In Becoming A First Detector

    The next in-person trainings will be held on the following dates:

    Monday, April 23 5:45-9pm, UVM Extension, Berlin, VT

    Wednesday, April 25, 5:45-9pm, Bennington Public Library

    Wednesday, May 2, 5:45-9pm, St. Albans Town Hall
