Congratulations to the Regional Planning Commission (southern Nevada). The commission recognized the growing need for a regionally accepted Plant List (trees and shrubs) and formed a commitee to develop one.  That committee did a spendid job. They used all the expert opinions that the valley has to offer and developed a guide that can be adopted into a sensible code by the municipalities, and also used by HOAs and homeowners for appropriate and beautiful landscapes.  This guide will help to reduce inappropriate plant selection and it will help water conservation. See the Guide under the Links page. It’s free!
