FREE at Iowa Western Community College Feb 6 1-4:30 pm! Learn about the function and design of Bioswales, landscape elements designed to remove silt and pollution from surface runoff water. Learn about Bio-Retention Cells, the next step above raingardens. When storm water runoff quantities must be reduced or pollutant reductions are needed, when space and site conditions aren’t favorable, a bio-retention cell may be the storm water management practice to utilize. Iowa Western ENVI 99*06 W, Feb 6 1-4:30 pm CB 1 time.
