Three positions are up for election on the FUFC Executive Committee–City Arborist, Private Arborist and Member-at-Large.  The term for these positions is through December 31, 2021.

Executive Committee Members are voluntary positions and there is no compensation except for reimbursement for travel expenses (providing funds are available). An Executive Committee Member must be a member in good standing and willing to commit at least 60 hours annually to attend meetings and participate in activities.

The Executive Committee meets a minimum of six times per year. Meetings are typically held the second Wednesday every other month (February, April, June, August, October, and December).  The majority of the meetings are held in the Central Florida area, which seems to be a convenient location for everyone statewide.  Attendance and participation at the meetings and in activities is very important to the success of the Council.

If you would like to be placed on the ballot for any of the elected positions listed above, please send your “short” bio to Sandy Temple, FUFC Executive Director, via E-mail to sandy@fufc.org. Bios need to be submitted no later than Wednesday, April 24 to be included on the ballot.

If further information is needed, please contact John Harris (eai@earthadvisors.com) or Sandy Temple.
