Did you plant trees last Arbor Day?  If you did, when did you last check on them?

It’s easy to forget about young trees that we have taken so much care to plant. Just this weekend I made a visit to the four trees my family planted in the yard and prettied up the mulch beds and trimmed some dead twigs. All but one was doing well and showed vigorous new growth. One of the holly trees is not doing to well though. It looks like I may of had an irrigation issue with the mister head and it may be a little to far gone to bring back. We had lots of rain this weekend but week prior it was very dry for extended periods. I’m going to give it a few days and see what happens.
