Volunteer help at Elmwood Cemetery 4/30/11 1030 am.
Hey Everyone,I could really use some help from a volunteer to act as a helper this Sunday for the tree inventory at Elmwood. I'm also going to try to enlist a TUFC Chapter member to be the inventory person to whom you will assist. I expect to work for 3-4 hours. Helper will need a tree id book (if you have one), a cordless drill (to remove tags or to back the name plates out a bit), and a clip board. Please let me know asap if you're interested in helping.See More

If anyone is interested in volunteering at Elmwood for fun or for volunteer credits let me know. We will be scheduling a work day over the next month and could use a couple extra hands. Also we'll be assisting them in their arboretum recertification during the spring including tree id, locating and mapping, and brochure development, and tree planting.

We could use a hand or two at the Forest Faire this Saturday from 10-4pm. Anyone interested can use this time for their volunteer hours for their cert or re-certs. It's a good time, so come on down to the Volentine/Evergreen district down off of Dickinson and Tutwiler Saturday the 25th. If you need anymore info just let me know.
