Planting Story, La Belle Aire Elementary

In early May, 2009, we'd spent some time talking about the benefits of trees and the things they need to survive and thrive; many of the same things 4th graders need. So as our cheer rang out over the playground, "AIR, WATER, LIGHT, FOOD- I WANT TO BE A TREEEEE!!", I thought perhaps the live oaks we'd planted with this active group might just make it next to the busy playground.
