An American in Paris - Even the trees are chic

On a recent memorable trip to Paris, France, I took lots of photos of beautiful trees in addition to historic sites. In the Luxembourg Gardens and other select areas, Parisian tree keepers prune some of the foliage into high, dramatic shapes of uniform green boxes, allowing the foliage to weave together through a technique, I learned later, called pleaching.  Truly elegant!  What do you think or know about this technique?  Are there any American cities that do similar shapings of their…See More

I do have experience with the benefits of large trees in retail settings, both from the standpoint of tree nursery and arborist in helping people better plan for trees. Let me know if this would fit with what you are looking for.

Thanks! Planning to be there. I noticed you are looking for folks to participate in the roundtable at the conference regarding trees (selection and benefits) in retail settings. I have a good bit of experience with this topic and would be happy to help if you are still searching.
