Planting Trees at Cornell Elementary, Saydell CSD with a TFK grant

28 Kindergartners, with help from the high school honors biology class, and many parent volunteers planted 55 landscape trees throughout the Elementary School campus. There was a whole-school assembly about trees and the environment before hand, as well as a whole-school turnout when the volunteer fire dept showed up to water the trees with their fire truck.

Lunch was eaten under the shade of a beautiful Silver Maple. It was a great event!
