Poland's Mysterious Crooked Forest
This grove of 400 pines was planted around 1930 and after 5-7 years of growth were apparently bent by "human mechanical intervention", but why? Future product application? Nature art?

Wow this is really neat. Sometimes in a forest you can see storm events in the Pines by looking at unusual bends in their growth, the phenomena can be confirmed by seeing other trees with similar bends... or at lease so I have been told.
