American Grove
After we completed the cleanup of trash, we started to work on the plants we wanted removed. Poison Ivy was removed simply so to allow child to use the space, but English Ivy was removed because it completely enveloped many of the trees, some to the point that it had choked off their leaves and caused permanent damage. Here you can see just how thick the ivy was on this tree when we cut the vines at the base of the tree and pulled them from the understory.
