Holly Campbell is an Extension Associate with Southern Regional Extension Forestry, focusing on urban forestry and wildland fire. Working with the National Urban and Community Forestry Advisory Council, Holly recently completed an impact assessment of the US Forest Service Urban and Community Forestry grant program. She also manages an eXtension site on urban trees and energy conservation and the free online course, eLearn Urban Forestry. Holly partners with the Cohesive Fire Strategy, writing success stories of wildfire and prescribed activity in the south, is writing a smoke management guide for landowners using prescribed fire, and is developing a Master Gardener module on fire-resistant landscaping. Holly received both her BSA in Horticulture and her MS in Forest Resources from the University of Georgia.
