  • While walking my dog yesterday I was bothered by the amount of litter "caught" in the edge of the forested areas. In addition to poop, I picked up the garbage. It's a much more pleasant walk now.

  • You would think it odd for a person in SD to join the "grove" for NY. Well, let me explain. I lived in Binghamton  until 1991 when I moved to SD to work for the State Department of Agriculture. I still have relatives in the area and I was just there for a short visit in June of 2011. My AAS and BS degrees are from SUNY College of ESF in Syracuse. Plus, I  love the Adirondack Mountains!
