Wait and See Sycamore 1 Reply

I gave my 2-year-old grandson a Sycamore tree for his first birthday in 2011.  Well in spring of 2012 when the tree still hadn't been planted... and it wasn't due to laziness.. I figured his parents really didn't want a sycamore tree so I brought it…Continue

Statewide Tree Planting Challenge

Tree planting time in Mississippi is rapidly approaching.  We are in the process of developing a statewide tree planting challenge for many reasons but it will compliment the Mississippi Grove site's mission  as well .  Any ideas?

Just put some pictures up from this year's Arbor Day. It was mighty cold but we had a great turnout and the kids have some trees on their new playground. Mayor DuPree told the kids that these were their trees and we wanted them to take care of them. Thanks to Principle Large and the Grace Christian School for hosting the 2011 Arbor Day.http://thegrove.americangrove.org/profile/CharlesAndyParker

For those who didn't make it to the MUFC conference this week, you missed out on some very good speakers and topics. Yeah the weather wasn't perfect but it didn't stop us. Randall Arendt, Buck Abbey and all the other speakers were top notch. Thanks to all of them for their time and efforts.

We need your help! Draft a short blog post about a tree you've planted by Nov. 14 and you could win a donation for MUFC. Click here for more details: http://thegrove.americangrove.org/profiles/blogs/the-groves-tree-pl...

Hi Donna, I have been trying to find the time to really sit down and look over the Grove. I like the site and its content. I think it will be a good networking tool and we can see what our friends are doing across the state and country.
