Maryland Department of Natural Resources Forest Service. This group will aim to inform citizens about what DNR Forest Service is doing to help Maryland plant trees to help sustain Maryland's current tree canopy at 40%. There are programs to help the public plant on public lands, Treemendous Maryland. Programs to share the Gift of Trees with friends and family in memory or celebration of a special someone or event. There are also incentives like Marylanders Plant Trees that provides a $25 off coupon on any tree over $50 at participating nurseries.
