American Grove
Eight Residential Tree Distributions are being held across Iowa this fall, and the applications are now available online at alliantenergy.com/releaf.
This program is a partnership between Alliant Energy, Iowa Department of Natural Resources Forestry Bureau, and local partners. The goal is to reduce energy consumption through proper tree placement around buildings. Alliant energy subsides the cost of trees for its customers, and the Landscape Trees are $25.00 per tree for a #5, #7, or #10 container grown tree, and we will distribute between 175 and 550 trees at each location. Events will be held in Cerro Gordo, Clinton, Johnson, Lee, Linn, Story, Tama, and Winneshiek counties, and we will have tree planting and care workshops with many of the events. Click on the Alliant Energy link above to download order forms and workshop registration forms.
