The Woodlands Edge Community had a great Arbor day celebration. We were a little late, and celebrated on the national day, but we had a scavenger hunt for trees, planted trees in the community park, made awesome t-shirts, and gave away free trees to the residents to take home and plant. It was really great, we had a good turnout.

What did you exactly do for the scavenger hunt for trees? it sounds interesting, always looking for new ideas. :)
We created the attached handout, then labeled trees in our park area A-K. They had to hunt to match the pictures on the handout to the tree and fill in the correct letter. It was lots of fun!
