ReLeaf Project and State Arbor Day Celebration

Arkansas ReLeaf  and Global ReLeaf Project and State Arbor Day Ceremony

Date: Saturday, March 10, 2012    11:00-2:00pm (or until trees have been given out). Purpose:  The goal of this Arkansas ReLeaf Project is to assist the Community of Marmaduke and surrounding county in recovering from tree loss caused by tornado damage. Citizens who were impacted by the storm are eligible to receive free trees and hot dogs at Marmaduke City Park.A mix of shade trees such as oak, maple, redbud, baldcypress and tulip poplar will be available to help shade homes.Past projects have included helping the communities of Scotland, Arkadelphia, College Station, Haskell, Sardis, Cherry Hill, Clinton and Mena who were impacted by storms as well.
