Please join us to say best wishes, farewell and good luck to Dan Gillman who is retiring on July 6 after working for 15 years as the plant pathologist at UMass Extension's Plant Diagnostic Lab. 

Concurrently say hello and welcome to Dr. Nicholas Brazee who was hired to replace Dan at the lab.  Nick has been working with Dan for the past month to insure a smooth transition of services. His background includes a PhD from the University of Massachusetts and most recently as a Research Plant Pathologist from the USDA Forest Service in Madison WI.  Nick has extensive training and experience in diagnostics and plant pathology and looks forward to meeting Green Industry professionals and continuing to provide diagnostic and teaching programs.
