Event Description

AUFC is hosting an Electrical Hazards Awareness Program for tree care companies, which will be hosted by AUFC and given by the Tree Care Industry Association. The workshop is free, with a $15 fee for lunch. Employers and employees of tree care companies will be trained in safe ways to handle electrical hazards associated with trees. The workshop, financed by a grant from Occupational Safety and Health Administration, US Dept of Labor, is offered to affected employees and owners of small businesses, including limited-English, low-literacy and hard-to-teach workers.
